I’ve always hoped that Woody’s old Tamiment sketches would see the light of day in book form. From Robert Weide’s documentary it looks like Woody or someone somewhere still has them well preserved. Whenever I watch The Front, for some reason I think back to those old school comedy writers spending the summer hovered over their typewriters, thinking of those zingers and punchlines, meeting those deadlines, working with the actors etc. Fellow writers and audiences alike, it seems like it was a great time spent with great people.
GO WOODY!!!
