We finally have it, the trailer for Wonder Wheel, the new film written and directed by Woody Allen. The film stars Jim Belushi, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake and Kate Winslet, set to premiere next week in the New York.
Here it is.
The trailer tells us a little we all already know. We had heard that it was the story of a woman running from a murder – and it turns out to be Temple’s character. There seems to be a lot of interiors, but the exteriors look particularly gorgeous. A lot of the 50s was recreated on computers, a first for Allen.
We will do a full trailer breakdown to follow.
Wonder Wheel premieres on 14th October 2017 at the New York Film Festival, followed by a limited release on 1st December.

Folks, this trailer of Woody’s next masterpiece tells us that our best hopes for this project have been realized. This film looks tantalizing, very, very tantalizing. On a different note, does anyone out there know if Woody’s comic short story compilations such as Getting Even, Without Feather, and Side Effects are going to be released by Library of America anytime soon. It sure would be nice to have all of Woody’s short story’s in one nice sold hardbound compendium. For posterity, Woody’s short stories deserve the best presentation and preservation. Woody’s stories deserve to be on the same shelf right beside other incredible writers like Roth, Updike, Nabokov, O’Neill, Bellow etc!!!! We need to make this happen, for The Captain!!!!
GO WOODY!!!!
