We patiently await more details of Wonder Wheel, the latest film written and directed by Woody Allen. It is due to premiere at The New York Film Festival in October, followed by a US general release in December. We have a small update of some release dates of other countries to follow.
In Germany, the release date will be 25th January 2018.
In France, the film will be released on 31st January 2018. Mars Distribution will once again handle the release.

Both countries look to be releasing the film right in the middle of awards season. With lots of talk and nominations floating around, it shows a lot of confidence for the film.
IMDB also lists release dates for Spain (1st December) and Sweden (22nd December). These are unconfirmed, and we will update the details once we have them.
In Australia, distributor eOne confirmed that they will release the film, with no release date set. eOne Australia has put out the last several Allen films, including Café Society and Irrational Man.
These dates bode well for awards season. We are hearing buzz of Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake. Hollywood Elsewhere chimes in that Jim Belushi has also given an Oscar worthy performance (and has a very Oscars friendly narrative).
