The interview compares Stewart to Audrey Hepburn, and she talks about how different the role is for her.
Woody said, “As long as you don’t walk like a sailor you will be fine.” So I auditioned for it and apparently did OK.
She also talked about her co-star Jesse Eisenberg, her third time working with her, as well as the story of the film.
It’s one of those bittersweet stories, these people at the end of their lives and they think of all the hypotheticals that could have been.
Who knows what could have happened if they made a few different decisions? You can appreciate intermittent things in life and have them not be true to perfect form.
There’s bound to be a lot more in the coming days with Stewart, as well as a red carpet Wednesday night. Café Society opens in New York and Los Angeles on 15th July.
