Reports today of a man being arrested on the set of the 2015 film by Woody Allen. The film is currently in production in Rhode Island.
The incident took place near Brown University in Providence. We conjecture that it took place at the Providence Athenaeum, who tweeted us that Allen’s team were filming there.

Security guards tell WPRI-TV the man went to the set and began asking “weird questions” about the movie’s stars, who include Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and Parker Posey.
The incident escalated to throwing a chair and assaulting security guards. The person has been identified as Mark Spiridakos.
There are no more details at this time. Hopefully it will be the last we hear of it.
Filming for the 2015 film continues this week. They are due to wrap up mid August so there’s only a week or two left.
