Peter Sarsgaard and Andrew Dice Clay are two of the many stars appearing in Woody Allen’s 2013 film ‘Blue Jasmine‘. Both have been doing press for other projects, and have been asked about working with Woody Allen, although both were tight lipped about plot details.
Peter Sarsgaard’s new film is Lovelace. It also stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace, the star of the 1972 pornographic film ‘Deep Throat‘. The film also stars Woody Allen alumni Sharon Stone (Stardust Memories), Chloë Sevigny (Melinda And Melinda) and many more. It also includes Sarsgaard’s ‘Blue Jasmine‘ co-star Bobby Cannavale.
Woody Allen is discussed at 6:10. He discusses his audition process (and his letter from Allen) and much more. The interview is from Collider.
Next in Andrew Dice Clay. This whole clip is about Woody Allen. He makes it clearly known that ‘Blue Jasmine‘ is a drama and again talks about the audition process. He also does a silly little impression of Allen that’s quite cute. He talks about pushing himself as an actor, and he’s turning into quite a champion of Allen. Dice-Clay also confirmed that Woody Allen himself does not appear in front of the camera.

Both actors give very little away. We still know very little about the plot, although you can find our comprehensive round up of everything we know.
In other ‘Blue Jasmine‘ news, Conal Fowkes confirmed on his twitter that he is appearing in ‘Blue Jasmine‘, playing piano in a cocktail party scene. Fowkes is the piano player in Woody Allen’s jazz band, and also contributed music to Midnight In Paris.
Also on twitter is a tweet saying that Portugal will get ‘Blue Jasmine‘ on 3rd October 2013. We’ve updated our dates accordingly.
